Level 1 Diploma in Site Carpentry

The aim of the Level 1 Carpentry and Joinery course is to provide you with the foundational skills and knowledge necessary to enter the construction industry. You will gain an understanding of the diversity and complexity within the field of carpentry and joinery, exploring the roles and responsibilities of various professionals and the potential career progression routes available.

Throughout the course, there will be opportunities to work on community projects, allowing you to gain real work experience and apply your skills in practical settings. This hands-on approach is designed to develop your practical abilities, as well as your understanding of the construction industry in general. You will learn essential carpentry and joinery techniques, preparing you for further study or entry-level positions within the sector.

A minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade D/3 or above (or equivalent). An interview is required.
