Funding
Apprenticeship Levy
The Apprenticeship Levy is a UK initiative targeting large employers to fund apprenticeships. Businesses with a payroll bill over £3 million per year must pay the levy, but all employers can benefit:
Levy-paying employers: Funds collected can be used to pay for apprenticeship training and assessment.
Non-levy-paying employers: Smaller employers can receive government funds covering 95% of apprenticeship training and assessment costs, with the employer contributing the remaining 5%.
